Since 2011, AClem has supported the Little Angels primary school in Kinyamaseke, which welcomes more than 120 children living in precarious conditions. Deeply moved by their reality, the team has been committed since 2013 to concrete missions to sustainably improve their daily lives: daily meal distribution, covering teachers’ and staff salaries, renovation of essential infrastructure such as the dormitory, kitchen, and latrines, as well as providing school materials and training to strengthen the quality of education.
At the end of 2019, AClem chose to withdraw from the school’s direct management, leaving solid foundations and the necessary means to continue its development independently.
At the heart of our commitment
The morning breakfast offered by Bateau Genève is intended for people in vulnerable situations. Each morning, this welcome time offers much more than a meal: a warm space for presence, listening, and exchange. This initiative helps fight isolation, preserve the dignity of beneficiaries, and create a genuine moment of social connection.

In 2021, the meeting between Reggie Hobbs and AClem gave birth to a new project in Kenya, at the heart of the Samburu people's territory. This community lives in harmony with a vast arid natural reserve, where their survival is closely linked to that of the wildlife.
Exclusively dependent on livestock, the Samburu face major challenges related to drought and climate change. To preserve both human and animal life, they dig essential wells, but dangerous for young animals that can fall into them. In response to these challenges, solidarity actions are implemented to protect both the communities and the biodiversity of this unique region of Kenya.
At the heart of our commitment
Bateau Genève’s socio-professional integration mission is based on an approach centered above all on the dignity of the individual. Rather than imposing an immediate return to employment, integration is seen as a progressive process adapted to each person’s pace and path.
Each year, more than 30 trainees take part in 3- to 6-month placements across three activity areas: maintenance, boat renovation work, and the seasonal refreshment stand. These experiences make it possible to acquire practical skills in various professions, regain self-confidence, and become part of a positive collective dynamic.
Thanks to individualized socio-professional support, participants can highlight their know-how, develop new skills, and more confidently consider training, an internship, or employment.
