1. Scope of Application
• These Terms and Conditions govern the sale of tickets for events organized under the name Chess for
Charity.
• The organizing and contracting entity is the AClem Foundation.
• By placing an order, the purchaser fully accepts these Terms and Conditions.

3. Products Offered
• The website offers the sale of named tickets for Chess for Charity events.
• All tickets are strictly personal, named, and non-transferable.
• Any transfer, resale, or assignment of a ticket without prior written authorization from the organizer is
prohibited.
4. Prices
• All prices are indicated in Swiss francs (CHF).
• As the AClem Foundation is exempt from VAT, no VAT is applied.
• No additional fees are charged for payments made by credit or debit card.
5. Payment
• Payments are processed in CHF via the secure payment solution provided by Wordline.
• The AClem Foundation does not store any banking or card details.
• The transaction is considered final upon confirmation of payment.
6. Information Collected
During the purchase process, the following information is collected:
• First name
• Last name
• Full postal address
• Email address
This information is required for administrative purposes, ticket validation, and chargeback prevention.
7. Refund Policy
• Refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@chessforcharity.ch.
• In the event that the organizer cancels the event, a full refund will be issued.
• In the event of cancellation by the participant, refund eligibility may depend on the time remaining before the
event and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.
8. Liability
• The organizer cannot be held liable in cases of force majeure, exceptional circumstances, or events beyond
its reasonable control that may result in modification or cancellation of the event.
9. Data Protection
• Personal data collected through the website is processed in accordance with Swiss data protection law.
• Such data is used solely for the organization and management of events and is not sold or transferred to
third parties for commercial purposes.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
• These Terms and Conditions are governed by Swiss law.
• The competent court is the court of the Canton of Valais, Switzerland.
